HYALURONIC ACID DISSOLVING – HYALURONIDASE

HYALURONIDASE
Hyaluronidase is an enzyme that catalyses the breakdown of hyaluronic acid. In every human body, natural (endogenous) hyaluronic acid is constantly produced and degraded within the extracellular space — the body actually produces five different subtypes of this enzyme!
In aesthetic medicine, hyaluronidase is used for its depolymerising properties, meaning it breaks down hyaluronic acid molecules. This makes it an essential tool for correcting excessive or misplaced filler.
How the treatment works
Hyaluronidase is injected with a fine needle directly into the area where too much filler has been applied. It is also used to treat swelling or lumps that may occur after filler treatments.

The enzyme is completely eliminated from the body within about a week after application, leaving the skin restored to a more natural, balanced appearance.
